Durasein is an acrylic solid surface that can be shaped into curves, joined invisibly and finished as one continuous run: worktop, splashback and integrated sink flowing together without a seam in sight. Non-porous and simple to clean, it can be refinished if life leaves a mark, which is why it thrives equally in busy family kitchens and hard-working commercial interiors.

Very. It's non-porous, so there's nowhere for bacteria or mould to take hold, and seamless joints mean no grout lines or gaps to trap grime, a big part of why it's popular in kitchens, bathrooms and commercial settings.
We'd always say no. As with any solid surface, use a trivet or pan stand. Durasein copes well with everyday warmth, but prolonged direct heat can mark the surface, and marks like that are avoidable.
Yes, this is one of the material's biggest strengths. Scratches, chips and even holes can usually be filled, sanded and refinished by our team so the repair is effectively invisible.

Yes. Durasein bowls can be bonded into the worktop so the whole surface flows as one piece: no rim, no join, nothing to catch water or dirt. Drainer grooves can be machined in too.

Warm soapy water and a soft cloth for everyday cleaning, and avoid harsh or abrasive products. If the surface ever loses its lustre, it can be professionally refinished rather than replaced.
