Velstone is a solid surface that majors on stone-effect décors: flecked, veined and textured finishes with real visual depth. Like all quality solid surfaces it is non-porous, joins invisibly and can be worked into integrated sinks, upstands and curves; unlike natural stone it can be refinished if damaged. That blend of looks and resilience has made it a favourite for high-use environments, from family kitchens to student accommodation.

The standard finish for worktops: a soft, even sheen that hides everyday wear and is easiest to live with.

A step more lustre, popular for splashbacks, vanities and feature areas that catch the light.

A deeper shine for statement pieces. Beautiful, but shows marks sooner, so we advise where it suits.
Screen colours are a guide only, and Velstone décors carry flecks and movement no swatch can show. We bring physical samples to every consultation. Silver Dust, from the Eternal Collection, is the surface we fitted throughout Christ's College, Cambridge.

Velstone gives you a stone look with solid surface behaviour: invisible joints, integrated sinks and coved upstands, no sealing, and the ability to refinish damage. Granite offers natural uniqueness but none of that flexibility.
Yes, like other quality solid surfaces, Velstone bonds and finishes so joints effectively disappear, letting long runs and wrapped details read as one piece.
Yes. Scratches, chips and marks can usually be sanded and refinished in place by our team, a key advantage over natural stone in hard-working environments.
Very. It's non-porous with no joints or grout lines to harbour bacteria, and details like coved internal corners make it genuinely easy to wipe clean. It's well suited to high-hygiene settings.

Warm soapy water and a soft cloth day to day, trivets under hot pans, and no abrasive cleaners. If it ever picks up marks, refinishing can bring it back to original condition.
