Everyday care, made simple
Day to day, most surfaces ask very little: a soft cloth, warm water and a mild detergent. Regular wipe-downs stop grease and residue building up, protecting both the finish and the hygiene of the surface.
Steer clear of harsh or abrasive cleaners: they dull the finish over time and undo the very sheen you’re trying to protect.

Scratches, stains & marks
Life happens to worktops. Light scratches and marks in busy areas can often be reduced or removed entirely with the correct method for the material, and many solid surfaces can be refinished to look new again.
Stains are best tackled promptly. Non-porous surfaces resist most spills, but the sooner they’re cleaned, the better the result. If a mark won’t shift, our team can usually restore it.

It varies with the stone and how hard the surface works. There's no one-size answer. As a rule of thumb, when water stops beading on the surface it's time; we can assess yours and advise properly.
In most cases, yes. Because materials like Corian and Durasein are solid all the way through, light scratches can be sanded and refinished out, often leaving the surface looking new.
No, quartz is non-porous and never needs sealing. It mainly needs sensible cleaning: mild detergent, soft cloth, and prompt attention to spills.
Abrasive creams, scouring pads and harsh chemicals like oven cleaner or drain unblocker. They dull polished finishes and can permanently mark some materials.
Often, yes, particularly on solid surface where marks can be sanded and refinished. Send us a photo and we'll tell you honestly what's achievable before you commit to anything.
